Two-Bits...Four-Bits...

Competition cheerleading is not quite the old traditional "ra-ra"...these girls are serious! You can sense the drive and determination these girls possess, their excitement and focus seems to be infinite...and this is just during practice! We recently had the pleasure of taking portraits of the teams from Athletic Cheer Power in Caldwell. We had a great time and got to meet a lot of great personalities and we'll be posting some action shots in the near future so stay tuned!

"Tis the season...

My daughter (lovely assistant #2) and I had a wonderful in-home photo session the other night with the Revilla family; Paul, Bernadette, Mark (oldest), & Matthew (youngest). Very nice people and easy to photograph! Paul is the brother of Michael Revilla who was our landlord at our old studio here in Caldwell.
Here's a few from the session--

A Few More Family Sessions...

The Normans are a great family and you might remember Taylor from a recent Senior session we had. The location is Old Baylor in Independence, TX. It's quiet and makes a nice backdrop for many types of portraits.

The Sorto family are also return clients of ours and they own a very good restaurant here in Caldwell; Mas Fajitas...and if you've ever had the Cadillac Fajitas you know what I'm talking about! This was an in-home session and we had a lot of fun. The girls got a kick out of the one magic trick I know and was just giggling away!

Family Time

I've always liked this time of year and feel blessed to be able to spend this time with family. We recently had the privilege to shoot several family portrait sessions and, to me, these sessions are always lots of fun and sometimes we get to be part of emotional experiences when family members are reunited or new members are welcomed for their first gathering.

Here's the Hardy family with our veteran models; Keavy & Keagan. We photographed the children a while back and noticed right away how much they've grown!

Here's the Mullen family...A very nice family that greeted us with smiles the second we walked through the front door. Their two beautiful German Shepherds ( I feel bad 'cause I can't remember their names) took to me right away and they brought me rocks and placed them in my bags as I attempted to unload the gear :)

And here is the Hodges-Campise family with the newlyweds; Amber & Wayne Campise to the right. We photographed their wedding back in April and have been friends ever since. They have a beautiful place in the country with pecan orchards in every direction.

Chelsea & Jake's Ranch-Style Portraits

A few weeks ago we photographed a beautiful wedding for Chelsea and Jake. The wedding took place at her parents' ranch which is full of ponds, rolling hills, livestock, and curious wildlife and; combined with great weather, made a perfect venue for an outdoor wedding and portrait session. A great couple with great personalities; this is why we enjoy what we do so much.

Here are a few images we produced and, as you can see, the couple wanted something outside the traditional portraits. We had a great time...
